BigHand are finalists in the ‘Infrastructure Innovation of the Year’ category which is awarded for an innovative new product or service that has delivered measurable benefit for customers.
The British Legal Awards are one of the leading awards for the UK’s thriving business law community acting as a showcase for the achievements of the country’s most successful sectors. BigHand are finalists in the ‘Supplier of the Year’ category which is awarded for organizations that have provided a firm within the legal sector a product or service that has a quantifiable benefit to the firm.
BigHand are finalists in both awards as a result of the speech recognition project they completed with Eversheds, one of the largest law firms in the world. The firm wide implementation of speech recognition enabled over 2000 lawyers to use speech recognition - the single biggest roll-out of its kind.
Ben Mills, Managing Director of BigHand says: "Being selected as a finalist in both awards is a significant achievement for us. It recognizes both our innovation in technology but also our commitment to our clients to supply them with the best possible service to improve their business. Seeing the results that Eversheds have experienced shows how far our speech recognition application has come over the last number of years and is testament to the business benefits it can offer our clients. We’re looking forward to seeing our customers at our Annual User Conference in November and hopefully we will have an award under our belts."
