The fourth annual awards celebrated the achievements of law firms, legal departments, providers and ALSPs leading the legal profession into the future through technology and innovation.
The most innovative achievements of the past year were recognised across 41 different categories, with the Championing Diversity in Tech category focused on outstanding achievement in using technology to help move the needle on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal sector.
A brilliant litigator turned legal tech expert, Catherine founded Digitory Legal, now BigHand Impact Analytics, an award-winning cost analytics platform that helps law firms gain access to actionable data to drive DEI success.
In her role as Managing Director of Diversity and Impact Analytics at BigHand, Catherine has been the driving force behind the platform’s success in supporting law firms to find more equitable work allocation by surfacing quantitative and qualitative DEI data for every activity within a matter, without bias.
Catherine commented “It is an honour and privilege to have won this award. My thanks go to the judges for recognising the support Impact Analytics offers law firms in achieving data-driven DEI goals. I am proud of our industry advancement in leveraging data to promote inclusive allocation of career-advancing work for lawyers and this award is further evidence of that. My congratulations also go to my co-finalist and stiff competition, Jonathan Hill of Relativity, as well as all the other winners and finalists on the night.”
BigHand we’re also finalists in the enabling hybrid / remote work category for its Workflow Management solution that allows work to be automatically routed to the right support staff at the right cost to the firm and monitored throughout the process.
This is the latest in a series of award wins for BigHand following being named winner of the Workflow Management Platform of the Year award at the 2023 LegalTech Breakthrough Awards, Company of the Year in the 2023 Business Intelligence Group Awards and gold winner for Business Technology Solutions - Legal Solution at The Titan Business Awards 2023.
