BigHand and Affinity Consulting Group partnering to deliver voice productivity solutions to law firms.

BigHand, a voice productivity software solution and Affinity Consulting Group, a leading Legal IT and practice management consultancy, are announcing their partnership. This new alliance gives Affinity the ability to market BigHand Professional in the US Legal Market.

BigHand Professional is designed for firms of up to 30 users. The combination of a subscription pricing model, minimal IT infrastructure required, flexible workflow options and mobile productivity benefits fit perfectly for smaller firms. This cloud-based solution enables dictation from a PC or laptop, smartphone or tablet, or any digital dictation device, and offers an optional hosted speech recognition module. In addition, BigHand Professional has a workflow management solution that gives firms the ability to assign priority to tasks, and enables staff collaboration to digitize and manage document production and task allocation processes. This allows greater visibility over workloads and processes as well as greater efficiency through increased collaboration.

BigHand Professional Edition – a hosted version of BigHand’s enterprise software – has been extremely popular since launching almost two years ago and counts over 500 firms as cloud- based customers, and the number continues to grow steadily. Return on investment for law firms is typically realized in less than a year when compared to analogue tapes or standalone dictation systems.
