BigHand today announced that Seddons, a leading property and commercial law practice based in London's West End, has selected BigHand over their existing digital dictation provider to give them a stronger and more advanced technology platform that will support them long into the future.

BigHand’s Speech Recognition technology was piloted by six people within the firm, with a further ten people using their mobiles as dictation devices. Seddons plans to rollout BigHand’s Digital Dictation, Speech Recognition and Mobility functionality to over 60 lawyers and secretaries across the firm.

Beyond Digital Dictation, BigHand’s mobility function for tasks also proved essential for Seddons. For example, lawyers are now able to send through requests to book meetings and travel arrangements for their support teams to action whilst they are out of the office, helping them to work more effectively on the move.
