Today, they release the full details of this project in BigHand’s latest client case study.
The firm, which has been focused on implementing technology to improve business processes, rolled out BigHand Workflow Management as part of a restructuring exercise in 2015 to save time and money, and improve staff satisfaction.
BigHand Workflow Management integrates seamlessly with Anthony Gold’s BigHand Digital Dictation and workflow solution to enable users to digitise their analogue tasks such as room bookings, copying requests, printing and postal work. The addition of the BigHand Workflow Management module means that all types of tasks are entered into the same central workflow and can be managed far better than ever before.
John O’Connor, Head of IT at Anthony Gold Solicitors, says: “The BigHand Workflow Management electronic forms are easy to use and automatically generate and allocate tasks to the right teams. Everyone can clearly see every task, both when it’s being processed and when it’s been completed.”
Today the firm are finding that they’re using less hours in support work and are only paying for the skills they need, thus significantly reducing overall costs. O’Connor concludes: “We’ve increased profit margins from commoditised work and the service we can offer our clients is quicker and of a better quality."
Moving forward, the firm plans to start using BigHand Capacity Manager, a tool to manage backlogs, output, service level agreements and prioritisation of tasks, all from a single interface. O’Connor continues: “The combination of BigHand Workflow Management and BigHand Capacity Manager will provide us with even more flexibility and control. It’s true capacity management.”
