The events, which continue to grow year on year, are an opportunity for clients and prospects to learn about the BigHand product range, see the future product roadmap, receive training at BigHand’s Big School, and network with like-minded peers. The full-day conferences were sponsored by BigHand partners, Nuance and Olympus.
Additionally, a number of BigHand clients spoke at the event, including Chris White, Global CIO at Clyde & Co, Martyn Wells, IT Director at Wright Hassall, Nathan Hayes, IT Director at Osborne Clarke, John O’Connor, IT Consultant at One Way Up, Adam Cutler, IT Director at Higgs & Sons, and Karen Walker, Head of Business Operations at Browne Jacobson.
Ben Mills, Managing Director at BigHand comments, “The BigHand User Conference is always the one week in the year that we as a business really look forward to. It brings together the best of the best and this year we were very lucky to be joined on stage by a large number of BigHand clients. We also hosted some great smaller break-out sessions where we were able to demonstrate our product range and give a glimpse of some future product prototypes. One of my personal highlights from the day was hearing our keynote speaker James Kerr, author of best-selling book Legacy, reveal powerful and practical lessons from the world’s most successful sporting team, the New Zealand All Blacks, that can be applied to everyone in business and leadership. My favourites being “When you’re on top of your game, change your game” and ‘Champions do extra’”.
The event was co-hosted by Briana McCrory, Marketing Director who explained the idea between this year’s theme of ‘Older with years, Newer every day’, “BigHand turned 21 this year and we wanted to celebrate those customers of ours who have been with BigHand for much of that time. These are the people that have helped us to continue to innovate new products and assist our clients with the business challenges they face. At BigHand we strive to deliver customer excellence and develop long-term relationships with the people and the firms that work with us. It was great to spend the day with so many of our clients and celebrate in true BigHand style our 21st birthday.”
BigHand will shortly be releasing dates for a series of lunch briefings across five cities in the UK and Ireland to demonstrate the products shown at the conference for those who couldn’t attend on the day. For further information, please contact BigHand.
