The BigHand server uses service orientated architecture (soA) which keeps business logic, client code and data storage separated, providing a very scalable, reliable and flexible solution. Employing SOA has allowed us to create distributed services and innovative extensions to the core product for specific processes and features. Our enhanced web-based system Administration Console is just one example of this, along with the Web client, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile modules.
