Demand for BigHand’s Voice Productivity Solution Spreads Among Attorneys at Fox Rothschild, LLP, as BigHand for BlackBerry® Combines Traditional Dictation with Verbal Delegation

Chicago, IL, December 17 , 2010 – BigHand, the leading voice productivity vendor in the legal industry, today announced that top NLJ 250 firm, Fox Rothschild, LLP has deployed the BigHand for BlackBerry mobile solution to over 175 attorneys firm-wide, across 15 offices. The Smartphone solution from BigHand enables attorneys to be more productive when out of the office while also maximizing office-based support staff efficiencies. The demand at Fox Rothschild LLP increased as attorneys began to use the tool not just for traditional dictation, but also for verbal delegation and timekeeping while out of the office.

When the firm rolled-out BigHand’s workflow digital dictation system and Smartphone solution, allowing for dictations to be sent from a BlackBerry, attorneys could instantly access office-based support staff anywhere and at anytime.

Jeffrey Sultanik, Partner for Fox Rothschild, commented on his experience with BigHand ,“When I am away from the office, I use my BlackBerry® device for all forms of dictation. I now use BigHand on my BlackBerry to record time that was not previously being captured. When it came to emergency dictation before, I would leave extended messages for my assistant that she had to transcribe by listening to her voicemail. With multiple sites using the BigHand solution, team working among support staff across offices has been made possible, improving turnaround time and increasing support staff efficiencies. Gail Persichilli, Software Licensing and Project Integration Specialist, who oversaw the implementation of the BigHand solution, discussed the significant improvements in office-based staff efficiencies, “The office staff now receives work the minute it is completed and submitted by the attorney, smoothing out the peaks and valleys in their working day. In addition, the work comes through in smaller ‘snippets’ making it easier for support staff to prioritize and share work.”
